Materials

Definition of the right raw material is the key to the success of the molded part.

The knowledge of the raw materials available on the market, as well as the constant search for new materials is a challenge and ambition for us. Our goal is to be constantly up to date with the latest technology.

We have a very large stock of standard and special plastics.

We process all known standard thermoplastics in all possible colors, surfaces and qualities.

We also process many different modified thermoplastics that meet the high demands of customers. The following customer segments deserve special mention:

  • Medical industry
  • Vehicle industry (municipal and public transport)
  • Rail vehicles
  • Machine industry

As a standard, we process practically all approved thermoplastics for aviation.

We have acquired a great deal of knowledge about these special thermoplastics and have a large stock of these materials. This enables us to react to customer requests at short notice.

Thanks to our special thermoforming machine, we are able to form composite materials in 3D. This gives our customers massively expanded options with regard to the construction of moulded parts. It is thus possible to produce much stiffer and lighter parts with composite than with the standard thermoplastics available so far.

With soft foams, 3D padding for packaging delicate molded parts can be easily realized. With rigid foams, stiffeners or cores for laminate parts can be produced, which previously had to be milled.

Both thermoforming, compression molding and twin-sheet parts can be made from soft and hard foams (e.g. as insulation, covers and ventilation ducts).

Light and rigid 3D shaped covers and cladding can be produced from thermoplastic composite materials.

The advantage is the very fast cycle time.

With our special thermoforming machine, we are also able to produce Pre-Preg’s in very short cycles.

The possibility to produce either prefabricated – or specially assembled sandwich constructions from thermoplastic or thermosetting cover layers in combination with thermoplastic or thermosetting cores is very special. Both rigid foams and honeycomb cores can be used.

Extremely light and very stiff molded parts can be produced in this process.

The wishes of the customers are the requirements to try something new.

We are a licensed partner for thermoforming the thermoplastic non-woven materials from “National Nonwoven”. This material can be assembled according to customer requirements and has unique properties. In this way, noise-insulating panels can be manufactured as well as ballistic panels. Inlays made of woven carbon (multi-layer) are also possible. The material meets all FST / OSU heat release requirements for use in passenger aircraft. The material can also be painted and / or coated.
